Gain a City and Guilds in Japanese knotweed treatment

Train for free and gain a certified qualification

We're looking for volunteers to take part in a City & Guilds Safe Use and Handling of Pesticides course.

As part of our fight against Japanese knotweed on the River Holme, we need to train more individuals to treat this invasive weed.

In return for paying your training fees, worth in excess of £500, you'll agree to volunteer 8 days during the season to join our River Steward to undertake
Japanese knotweed control work (spraying and stem injection).

You'll gain a recognised qualification and help us to make the River Holme a better place for people, business and wildlife.

Find out more about the role and how to apply.
